Dear Editor: Re: Paying more for less?, Letter to the Editor, The Record, March 9. Particularly over the past two years, residents in New Westminster have effectively changed the way we dispose of our waste.

Canada's Senate is one of the strangest institutions that could exist in a modern democracy. It vastly over-represents some parts of the country and brutally shortchanges others.

Dear Editor: Re: School district stands by information fee, The Record, March 7. For the school district to suggest that the collection of five years of math marks is a difficult task for them is ridiculous.

Dear Editor: I was flabbergasted when I received last week our city's bill for water, sewage and garbage. Flabbergasted because I thought that we would have a relief now that the municipal garbage collection has been reduced in half since January.

Dear Editor: I could understand and sympathize with the dilemma faced by B.C.

As purveyors of news, we should be the last people in the world to suggest that some news is too distressing.

Dear Editor: There is a rumour that my neighbour is making a knife (almost as big as mine), and it may be that he plans to use that knife to attack me. Therefore I shall kill him.
