Strangers stopped to help

Dear Editor:

I am sending this letter to thank the two women who took the time to make sure I was alright after I took a spill on my bicycle.

Although I can't figure out what I did that separated me from my bike by Glenbrook Middle School on Tuesday, March 13, I greatly appreciate the two women in the van who drove up to the end of the dead end to check to make sure I was OK.

I was definitely stunned as I did land on my shoulder and bumped my head.

Thank you so much for taking the time to make sure I was all right and not leaving until I was up and moving again.

I have a few bruises and I am a bit stiff, but nothing worse than that.

Thank you so much for caring about a stranger.
