Dear Editor: I was surprised and disappointed to read a recent letter to the editor (Bring life back to the Quay, March w21.) The letter painted a picture of a bleak and deserted place - a very different place than the one I visited last weekend.

Dear Editor: Re: Fry proposal returns for input, The Record, March 23. I am writing this as followup to the article by Theresa McManus regarding the Elizabeth Fry Society applying, once again, to expand into our residential neighbourhood.

It hasn't been a good month for Christy Clark. MLA Harry Bloy had to resign from yet another post, John van Dongen jumped ship taunting the media with promises of B.C.

As a pundit once said, "There's justice and then there's the law.

I once had occasion to speak with a fellow parent about how much teachers make and how absurd their pension plan is.

Dear Editor: B.C. is too broke to meet its obligations to properly fund education, health care, the court system, the ferries and many other vital services, but it isn't because of a world recession or plain bad luck.

Dear Editor: Re: Relocate station turnstiles, Letters to the editor, The Record, March 23. In contrast to Martha Szczepulski, I do not think that turnstiles at SkyTrain stations are a good idea.

Dear Editor: I would like to thank community members and New Westminster teachers who have documented their concerns and ideas on how to improve May Day.
