Re: Fry proposal returns for input, The Record, March 23. I am writing this as followup to the article by Theresa McManus regarding the Elizabeth Fry Society applying, once again, to expand into our residential neighbourhood. The community is even more upset this time than they were the first time at the Elizabeth Fry Society's attempt to change the zoning in our neighbourhood to facilitate their own agenda.
The article noted 140 people signed the petition last time. We currently have 155 people signed, on a new petition opposing the expansion, representing 99 houses in the immediate lower Sapperton area. We have only just started distributing petitions.
The proposed OCP amendment is a huge issue for us.
