Hyack Swim Club's Stefan Milosevic had an individual best eighth place finish in the men's 200-metre freestyle at the Junior Pan Pacific swim championships in Hawaii last week. Milosevic made the final of the 200m in a time of 1: 51.51.

Cyclist sweeps gold at B.C. Seniors Games

Graydon Baker led the Royal City contingent at the B.C. Seniors Games with three gold medals in cycling. Baker won gold medals in the competitive 80-to-84 men's time trial, road race and hill climb.

New West motocross racer places eighth in series

Queensborough motocross racer Spencer Knowles finished up in eighth place overall in the 2012 Monster Energy national series. Knowles, 19, placed ninth after two heats in the MX2 division in the final race on the nine-stop series tour in Walton, Ont.
