Dear Editor The latest U.S. jobs report showed Americans added 173,000 jobs in August and pushed the U.S. unemployment rate down to 5.1 per cent, its lowest level since March 2008.

The more I read about how this election is shaping up to be a real, honest-to-goodness three-way race, the more I get annoyed.

Stephen Harper did a whistlestop in neighbouring Burnaby Monday. Not surprisingly he tried stoking all sorts of fears in one jam-packed stump speech.

A number of observers have suggested the federal election's outcome will be "decided" in British Columbia for the first time, as if the results of the province's 42 ridings will determine which party forms government.

Dear Editor: Dog owners in New Westminster are both arrogant and break the law constantly. Why do I say this? I live very near Ryall Park in Queensborough.

Dear Editor, There is currently a financial issue at hand in the city that I am thoroughly dismayed with as it demonstrates a complete show of indifference towards community involvement.

Recognizing the nature of reality and ourselves, we must accept the inescapable fact of change.
