The NDP government has made a political calculation that adding hundreds of millions of tax dollars in costs to public infrastructure projects is a risk worth taking, if that’s what it takes to reward key supporters and to stick to ideological values

New Westminster made a terrible list last week. Our city was listed as one of 20 B.C. communities identified by the provincial government this year as urgently needing to improve the response to drug overdoses.

Editor: I’d like to say something about the Uptown Live! festival this past weekend.
