Whatever the outcome of the election (I’m writing this column 48 hours before the polls closed on voting day) it will likely have a profound impact on the shape of the provincial economy.

Dear Editor: After reading your article last week regarding the implementation of a heritage conservation area in Queen’s Park, I feel the need to respond to a couple of comments included in the piece.

Dear Editor: There’s been lots of talk from both sides recently as the heritage debate heats up. Everyone agrees that plenty of Queen’s Park heritage is worth saving: we’re actually on the same side. But we disagree on how to accomplish it.

Dear Editor: The B.C. NDP promise to eliminate tolls on the Port Mann Bridge will make a big difference to reducing the overwhelming traffic in my neighbourhood.
