ON NOW To Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020 echoes, an exhibition at Burnaby Art Gallery, featuring the work of six artists from across the continent. Gallery open Tuesdays through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.

Four virtuosic guitarists from around the world will be onstage in New Westminster later this month. International Guitar Night is returning to the Massey Theatre stage for its 20 th anniversary tour, Saturday, Jan. 25 at 7:30 p.m.

Literarily inclined? Gather with some like-minded souls at this evening out in New West. Poet Stephen Karr is the featured artist at the next Cat Musings Reading Series variety open mic night, coming up Wednesday, Jan. 15. It runs from 7 to 9 p.m.

Calling all writers. The Royal City Literary Arts Society is offering up a writing workshop, The Marvels of Flash Fiction, with Karen Schauber. It’s on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Room 417 at the Anvil Centre, 777 Columbia St.
