Councillors getting set to pound the pavement

The next municipal election isn’t until 2026 but two city councillors could soon be knocking on your door.

New West Progressive councillors Daniel Fontaine and Paul Minhas have been holding a series of Councillor Café events at various venues in the city, giving folks a chance to chat with a councillor over a cup of coffee. Community members are invited to attend the final Councillor Café, which is on Wednesday, May 10 from 3 to 5 pm. at the Massey Theatre gallery.

“We will likely start this up again in the fall,” Fontaine said, “but for now, I will be out with Coun. Minhas knocking on doors and listening to resident concerns on the doorsteps in May/June.”
