Writers, are you looking for inspiration?

The Royal City Literary Arts Society offers a monthly series of Wordplay New West events, designed to help writers generate ideas.

The drop-in group meets next on Thursday, June 28 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the community room at Buy Low Foods at Westminster Centre (555 Sixth St.).

SheLa Nefertiti Morrison hosts the session, which is designed to help writers find new approaches to their writing and “unlock that treasure chest” in their head, as a write-up about the event says. Just bring writing tools, paper and your mind; it’s not a critique group, so the aim is to have fun and generate some first drafts.
