Here’s one for the lit lovers.
Gwynne Hunt is holding a book launch and reading on Sunday, May 26 for her new book Unlocking the Tin Box, published by Silver Bow Publishing. The book is the true story of growing up in a dysfunctional family in Vancouver in the 1950s and 1960s and is described as “emotional, evocative, raw yet quite lovely indeed.”
Books will be available for purchase at the launch, which will be hosted by New West poet laureate Alan Hill in Room 417 at the Anvil Centre, 777 Columbia St. It runs from 2 to 4 p.m.
