An independent secondary school was the only school in New Westminster to receive a COVID-19 exposure notification over the long weekend.
Purpose Independent Secondary School saw an exposure on May 13, 14 and 18, according to the Fraser Health school exposures website.
No public schools in School District 40 have been added to the list since Thursday, May 20. Prior to that date there had been numerous exposures in local schools, including a number with more than one notice issued back-to-back. Seven of the district's 12 public schools have seen exposures so far in May.
