Editor: The dooring of cyclists is totally preventable and never an "accident" - just another incident caused by careless drivers. If drivers adopted the practice of opening their doors with their right hand, most incidents would be prevented.

As September draws near, parents are left feeling uneasy as to whether or not their children should return to school given the current and ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Editor: I never thought I would miss the way back-to-school jitters felt. I used to be apprehensive at the start of each school year, but excited, too. I would buy new folders and decorate them with stickers, or maybe even get a new pencil case.

The Editor, I don't understand how parents' views are being gathered by the B.C. Ministry of Education or school boards in making their back-to-school plans .

Editor: Re: Increase in fines for ‘dooring’ cyclists I doubt anybody will change their behaviour by increasing fines for dooring cyclists.
