Hazel McCallion, former longtime mayor of Mississauga, Ont., dies at 101
MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Hazel McCallion, who developed a legacy of feisty advocacy during more than three decades as mayor of one of Canada's fastest-growing cities, died Sunday morning after a brief bout with pancreatic cancer. She was 101.
