MONTREAL — Elections Canada says it will investigate "shortcomings" that prevented some people in Nunavik from casting their vote in Monday's federal election.

British Columbia Premier David Eby addressed some of Mayor Ken Sim's criticisms, saying there would be a review and modernization of the Mental Health Act.

In his concession speech early Tuesday morning, Pierre Poilievre indicated he would stay on as leader. The Conservative party did not respond when asked Wednesday whether he has officially decided to stay.
