One of the two suspects from a series of recent break-and-enters has been arrested.

Prince George RCMP explains 40-year-old Allan Nigh was taken into custody Thursday night (Feb. 11) after officers found a man wearing similar clothing described from one of the surveillance images captured and released publicly earlier this week.

Police say, after Nigh was seen at around 8 p.m. on 800-block Canada Games Way and taken to the detachment, he was found with personal property from a reported auto theft.

One count of Break and Enter with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence was approved for Nigh by the B.C. Prosecution Service.

More charges are being considered, according to RCMP.

It’s not known by Mounties at this time, however, if Nigh will remain in custody or be released pending further investigation.
