Don't let the fall chill of the morning fool you — summer is still lurking around New Westminster.
This week, as New West students make their return to class for the 2022/23 school year, Mother Nature has decided to once again shower the city with sun.
Today's forecast calls for a high of 24C, with sun throughout the day. It's going to cool off slightly over the next couple of days (with highs of 22C and 21C and mainly sunny weather over Wednesday and Thursday), but the Weather Network notes the mercury will start to climb again heading into the weekend.
Capping it all off is a Saturday that's forecast to be sunny with a high of 27C — the perfect weather for getting out there and staying cool in Moody Park Outdoor Pool, which will remain open through Thanksgiving weekend.
Happy first day of school — and don't forget the sunscreen!
