You can explore grief and loss through art in a new drop-in series offered by New West Hospice.

The hospice society is hosting a series of expressive art therapy drop-ins, running monthly at Arietta Art Studio downtown.

The sessions, led by a senior art therapist, are designed to offer participants a safe place to explore grief and loss, share stories and support others. No art experience is required to take part.

The art sessions are free.

They’re set for Sundays from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on May 7, June 11, July 9, Aug. 13 and Sept. 10.

Registration is now open; email Rani at New West Hospice to sign up for free.

Arietta Art Studio is at 707 Front St.
