Pancit Palabok (Filipino rice noodle dish with shrimp sauce) is among the dishes served at the new Filipino restaurant Kimshaker's Foodhub in New Westminster

Kimshaker’s Foodhub is your newest spot for steamed pork dumplings (their bestseller), crispy meat-filled spring rolls, and other Filipino food faves.

After more than three months of sporting the “Opening Soon” signage outside their stall at Royal City Centre, the eatery finally has some good news for its fans.

The restaurant announced on its Instagram page that it's planning a soft opening on Saturday, March 18 — making it the brand new one in the list of New West's Filipino restaurants that includes Epic Grill Silogs + Sans Rival, Plato Flilipino and Kabayan Fiesta among others.

For those planning to queue up for a warm bowl of lomi or a “mega bowl” of their la paz batcho (a noodle dish), know that the eatery also accepts online orders.

In fact, a majority of its social media posts since 2020 flaunts large party trays of pork BBQ, bistek tagalog (Filipino beef steak) and caldereta (beef stew) among others — ordered online by customers.

It was only in December 2022 that the restaurant officially got the stall space at the Royal City Centre Mall, as per their Instagram post.

"We have 60 days fixturing period but we are so excited to serve you guys so we will try not to have it that long. See you all. Will be opening soon...," their Dec. 6 post read.

Now, with its opening day here, the big question is: is it going to be pork siomais or fish fillets for breakfast?

Kimshaker’s Foodhub is located at Royal City Centre Mall, 610 Sixth St.
