Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet) onstage till April 19

An indie-folk band is bringing its unique sound to Renaissance Books tonight as part of a tour in support of its latest album. West My Friend is onstage at Renaissance Books at 7:30 p.m., joined by special guest Lawren Nemeth.

The Arts Council of New Westminster is reaching out to help performing arts students at Douglas College. The arts council recently donated $8,000 to the college, bringing its Arts Council Scholarship up to $36,000.
