Here’s a sure-to-be-fun Christmas show for fans of classic rock’n’roll. The Legends of Rock’n’Roll is presenting a Rock’n’Soul Christmas at Massey Theatre (735 Eighth Ave.) on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 7:30 p.m.

You don’t have to be a grown-up to love the symphony. The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra is bringing its Tiny Tots concert series back to the Anvil Centre on Saturday, Dec. 8, with concerts at 10 and 11:30 a.m.

Dream-like and alien landscapes are taking to the walls of the Plaskett Gallery. Un-Natural Landscapes, an exhibition of work by Alyx Essers, is on from Dec. 4 to 23 at the gallery at Massey Theatre.

New Westminster audiences can enjoy another choral gem this holiday season. The Vancouver Cantata Singers are bringing their Christmas Reprise XVI concert to New Westminster. It’s on Saturday, Dec. 22 at 7:30 p.m.

Got some advice or ideas about writing to share? The Royal City Literary Arts Society has issued a call for proposals for interactive workshops to take place in New Westminster in 2019.

A New Westminster performer will be part of the fun when the Arts Club remounts Disney’s Beauty and the Beast for Christmas. Beauty and the Beast is onstage at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage from Dec. 1 to Jan. 6.

It’s been a New Westminster tradition for more than two decades, and it’s back for its 21 st edition in December. The popular annual Carols and Bells concert is making a return to Queens Avenue United Church on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m.
