October is Women’s History Month in Canada. In New Westminster, we have found a great number of stories that feature women and we have used these stories as parts of various local historical themes.

The Caring Neighbours at Christmas program is ramping up for another year of giving.

Some of my favourite books of all-time (including graphic novels) were originally intended for younger readers.

With all the activities New Westminster had to enliven special events in the past, one of the favourites was always the riverboat excursion and picnic combination.

A man who made his mark on the Royal City in a myriad of ways has passed away. Bill Radbourne, who was New Westminster’s 2010 Citizen of the Year, died Oct. 16 at Royal Columbian Hospital.
