Why are you running? I run to present new ideas and plans to New Westminster voters and work hard to justify their trust. My plan includes getting permanent, legislative protection for Queens Park, so never again it is at risk to be dismantled, users evicted, trees cut, green space paved - all at taxpayers expense to benefit a private, for profit company.

We need to deal with Mayor and Council's inability to handle traffic issues. In fact, they just approved a development that shall add 480 cars-per-hour more to the most congested city intersection, Braid and Brunette.

We need to get logic into selecting city's development projects, so 'pet projects' like Front Street parkade demolition, or pedestrian walking bridge across Fraser River, do not take priority over more necessary facilities.

My favorite motivational story is "Little Engine That Could". I will achieve real progress on all these issues if I have your vote.

Top Three issues you want to work on:

1. Traffic, traffic congestion.

2. Development, economy, local business.

3. Transparency, fairness of Council.
