Profession: I am an interpreter, post-secondary instructor and freelance writer.
Political experience (I.e.: how long have you been in office?): I have served on New Westminster's Education Committee and have held numerous professional board positions.
Why are you running? Our City is clearly growing in population and presence-becoming more recognized as a significant cultural and economic hub. While New West has been well served by its past council-with many of its members on board for a generation, the time is right for City Council to welcome fresh energy, experience and ideas. I am excited to take up the challenge of ensuring New Westminster and its residents succeed and prosper for the next four years and beyond.
Top Three issues you want to work on: I would be honoured to contribute to this City and the issues I am passionate about: immediate traffic calming, clear communications and safety.
