Why are you running? I want New Westminster to remain a livable city that is accessible and affordable. I value our city for being a community where seniors can age in place, where youth feel comfortable and accepted, where new Canadians are welcomed and where local businesses thrive.

Top Three issues you want to work on:

*  Transportation and Traffic. Excessive traffic through our city has become an overwhelming problem. I will work to reduce truck traffic and ensure that the new Pattullo Bridge is a tolled, four-lane crossing.

*  Affordability. We must protect and increase the stock of rental housing in our city. I want our children to be able to afford to stay in our community, and want those who work here to be able to live here.

*  Animal shelter. I will continue to support the Royal City Humane Society and advocate for a new animal shelter.
