Political experience (Ie.: how long have you been in office?):

I was elected to the New Westminster School Board in 2011, and elected Board Chair in 2013.

Why are you running?

New Westminster is an excellent school district with a bright future. I am running for school board because I want to be part of a team that improves student achievement: building our capacity to meet the needs of EACH student; treating all individuals with respect and dignity; investing in technology; and working with students, staff and parents to make School District 40 a leader in the province.

Top three issues you want to work on:

New Westminster students deserve to be educated in a modern high school and I will fight to ensure that happens.

Ensuring that our schools meet the needs of all students, in particular students with special needs, English language learners, and students at-risk.

Make technology accessible to students in a strategic and equitable way.
