Political experience: In office for six years.

Why are you running: I am running to continue the work this past term to address traffic problems in the city, especially increased truck traffic, and to continue revitalizing New Westminster as a progressive city.  

Top three issues you want to work on:
*  Traffic.  The new police Commercial Vehicle Unit and the Master Transportation Plan are things that I've worked hard on this past term. With a new Pattullo Bridge one other decisions coming, we need to continue to have strong advocates like Jaimie McEvoy.
* Affordable housing has become a Lower Mainland crisis.  We need to do more to support rentals that are affordable, and homes that serve families.
* Environment. With coal, trains, trucks all impacting our city, it's important to take the environmental initiative.  Caring for our environment is as important as ever.
