Why are you running? I have hundreds of clients who've expressed concerns about how New Westminster treats people and businesses. Many came in expressing concern about recent newspaper articles in local papers. They are angry about the city's response to concerns by Front Street merchants about the yearlong disruptions created by last year's fire and the upcoming minimum 8-week closure of Front St. to all vehicular traffic. I have been encouraged to run and after doing some homework on our city I was convinced.
Top three issues you want to work on: Taxation and spending, Transportation and traffic, creating a vibrant livable and welcoming city we appropriate amenities for our residents and businesses.
