Why are you running?

(1) I am committed to quality public education – in a district that is committed, and able to, address the needs of all students.

(2) The last year has seen tremendous progress in providing sound governance and principle based  decision making. I would like to continue in this direction for the upcoming term.

(3) It is of paramount importance that public confidence in the NW Board of Education be restored.

Top three issues you want to work on:

(1) To advocate effectively for additional resources to address class size and composition issues, so that the educational, emotional and social needs of all students can be met.

(2) To complete  the 4 step Capital plan, including the replacement of the High School. Address seismic issues where they occur.

(3) Sound budget management planning, implementation, tracking, and evaluation – so that public confidence can be restored.
