NWSS winds up the school year with a COVID-19 exposure notice

So. Darn. Close.

New Westminster Secondary School didn't quite make it out of the 2020/21 school year unscathed, as families received another COVID-19 exposure notification yesterday (June 28). Someone who has since tested positive for the virus was at the school on June 21, 22 and 24, according to the notice.

The new NWSS exposure was the only new local case reported on the Fraser Health school exposures website this morning. 

Today is the final day of classes in School District 40, but exposures could continue to trickle in over the coming days if there have been any cases over the final few days of school.
