Tis the season where many folks want to lend a hand to those in need - and the Record wants to help them do just that.
Every December since 1996, the Record has published a Guide to Giving, which helps connect community members to non-profits in need of their support – whether it’s donations of cash or specific items or volunteers. The Guide to Giving highlights some of the local non-profit organizations that help on various fronts, including groups helping homelessness and animals in need, and charity organizations working to makethe city a better place for everyone – at Christmas and beyond.
The guide will run in a December issue of the Record.
Non-profits wanting to be included in this year’s Guide to Giving should provide a short overview of their organization, the items on their wish list and contact information to the Record by 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 9 (sooner is better).
