Friday nights are sizzling this summer thanks to a new weekly pop-up event starring a line-up of totally vegan grilled cheese sandwiches at a popular New West coffee shop.
Head to Old Crow Coffee Co. Fridays this summer from 6 to 9 pm to find their “Cheezy Fri-yays” pop-up. The cafe and event space started the event on July 20, and it will run through August 24.
On the menu: Purely plant-based sammies, with a side of pickles (of course).
Last week’s debut menu showcases a trio of sandwiches priced at $9-10. This week it looks like they’re teasing the inclusion of a grilled cheese that has vegan spaghetti and “meat”balls pressed in it.
Don’t forget that Friday nights are pretty packed in this part of New West, thanks to the return of the free river-side weekly night market, Fridays on Front, so plan your visit to Old Crow for the cheezy goodness accordingly.
