It's four and counting for the Douglas College Royals.
The PacWest women's basketball team extended its win streak last week with a convincing 80-41 victory over Columbia Bible College in Abbotsford.
After the host Bearcats put up a 4-0 lead, Douglas got to work and proceeded to build a tidy advantage, leading 20-12 after one quarter and 45-18 at halftime.
They were up 62-25 after three quarters.
Leading the way was league sharp-shooter Sydney Fraess, with 15 points and 14 rebounds. The second-year guard from Chilliwack also corralled three steals.
Shelvin Grewal came off the bench to count 13 points and seven assists, while Cassandra Brinn scored 11 points. Chipping in with 10 points was Sierra Gallego, adding five steals to her total, while New West's Devin Strome netted nine points in support.
The Royals have really started rolling since dropping the first two games of the season, and currently sit third overall at 4-2.
Fraess continues to lead the league in shooting percentage, with a 55.9 per cent success rate from the field, and 43.8 per cent from three-point range. She is averaging 16.3 points per game, as well as eight boards, with both numbers among the top-five league best. A week earlier, she was named the PacWest women's basketball player of the week.
Douglas closes out the first half of the season on Saturday, 6 p.m. when they host Capilano at the New West campus.
