Re: Creating beauty in the garden, July 4, and Grateful for local gardener, Letters to the editor, July 11, The Record.
It is great that people acknowledge the efforts of our city gardeners. They really are a special group of people, performing the job with a lot of pride and dedication.
I would like to express my appreciation to Duncan Shanks and his group who keep the New Westminster Quay so beautifully planted.
People really do appreciate their efforts and all the "Kodak" opportunities they create for locals and visitor alike.
