Dear Editor:

I read Mayor Wayne Wright's ad: In Difficult Times Experience Counts.

What exactly is the state of our city, Mr. Wright?

You have consistently told the public that James Crosty's assertion that the city is facing "difficult times" is completely wrong, and the city is in great shape.

You repeatedly claim that everything is always "on time and on budget."

In fact, your website displays all the "done" items you have accomplished.

But now we see you finally acknowledge that the city is indeed in, or heading into, "difficult" times!

Your ad confirms what Crosty has been saying all along.

Things are not 100 per cent in the city, or at city hall.

With just over a week to go before the election - the truth comes out.

Have you been "blowing smoke" at the public all along, or are you finally seeing the light? Which is it?
