Re: Chief Skugaid cut adrift by Larco, The Record, Feb. 22.
Have you noticed the great conversations that have happened because of David Cobb and his historical Chief Skugaid? Everyone is fascinated by the boat. It adds interest to an otherwise very sterile parking lot between the River Market and the Pier Park.
Please, councillors of New Westminster, fight for the right of this boat and the affable proprietor, to extend his stay and keep the conversations going. It's much more interesting than other entries such as the Russian submarine vessel.
