Thanks to kindness of strangers

Dear Editor:

I was on my way home from work in the afternoon of Dec. 18, the day of the first snowfall, when I slipped and fell on the pavement by Queens Avenue, on the street across from Ready Set Grow Daycare.

I slightly twisted my ankle and I had a difficult time getting up. Two strangers saw me and helped. They were adamant that I not walk the rest of the way home and both volunteered to take me home.

I cannot forget their kindness. I was not able to get the name of the other gentleman that helped me, but it was Simon and Stephanie who took me home safely.

I would like to thank them. To the other gentleman, and to Simon and Stephanie, may you always be blessed. You have shown the true spirit of the season: loving your neighbour as yourself.
