Dear Editor:
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to both the City of New Westminster as well as the wonderful visitors we had join us at our Royal City Farmers Market this past Dec. 7.
We were thrilled to see so many happy faces visit our vendors after the wonderful Santa Claus Parade.
Our volunteers had to work extra hard to get out several hundred cups of fresh hot apple cider off the press, and it was great to see members of the public of all ages involved in crushing the apples and working the press.
Nowadays we realize you have so many shopping options to choose from, and we very much appreciate the time you spent visiting with our local vendors and purchasing gifts from their small businesses.
