Dear Editor:
I'm very saddened that the city has decided to change a historical tradition. (Removing the Lancers dance with May Day court). One of the reasons I fell in love with New Westminster was because of it's time-honoured traditions. To remove a part of this history, a part that my own daughter has fond memories of, seems petty and small-minded. Political correctness has gone too far. Shame on you, city council and mayor!
