Dear Editor:
My name is Greg Jones, and I am writing as a founding member of Parents for Public Education (P4PE) in New Westminster. I have three sons, with two at the high school and one at Connaught who is also headed there next year.
P4PE want to identify and support potential candidates for the New Westminster school board, and I am looking forward to being part of this vision.
P4PE want a school board where there is a positive, community-based vision that we can all be proud of.
We are a group of parents who have come together to build a broad consensus which is representative of all areas within New Westminster. I strongly encourage all parents to get involved and provide input around both the specific needs of your children's schools and the district's overall direction.
