Dear Editor:
I agree wholeheartedly with Hildegard Bechler's September 30 letter (Harper has made Canada a target).
When I took to my family to Iran for a wonderful 3 week holiday in 2013, a shopkeeper in Isfahan asked me what had happened to Canada: with Canada's participation in the international economic sanctions against Iran and Harper's condemnation of Iran and closing of Iran's embassy in Ottawa, "It's now worse than America!" he said.
For the reasons stated in the above letter, Harper has made Canada a target, and thanks to Harper, our respectability in the world has fallen considerably.
It’s time for changes in Ottawa.
