Dear Editor
May I, through the Record, offer my deep appreciation to the two separate passersby who assisted, comforted and supported me during my sidewalk accident on Sixth Avenue outside the library on Friday last.
One called 911 on my behalf, and the fire and rescue and ambulance services responded very quickly.
I am grateful for the concern and care received from strangers who, without thought for their own schedules, remained with me until the professional helpers arrived.
May their kindness be returned to them tenfold.
