Dear Editor:
I was at the checkout at London Drugs following a visit to the retinal specialist at Sixth Street in New Westminster, where I found I had left my wallet at home. This morning it was necessary that I take my cat to the vet, so rather than carry my purse and the cat carrier, I took only my wallet to pay the vet bill. Returning home, I set the wallet on the table instead of putting it in my purse.
When it came time to pay for the item, I had no money. A kind gentleman in line behind me paid for my purchase. I wish to thank him publicly for his generosity and wish him the best of health and a measure of prosperity in return for his benevolence.
