LETTERS: How many streets could be paved for $200,000?

Dear Editor: $200,000 for Bird on a Branch! So, is New West awash with money that we can afford to spend $200,000 on a piece of art? Is that really the most pressing need in New West? I wonder how many streets could be paved for that amount of money?

$200,000 for Bird on a Branch! So, is New West awash with money that we can afford to spend $200,000 on a piece of art?

Is that really the most pressing need in New West? I wonder how many streets could be paved for that amount of money? Daycare spaces opened up?

I trust with all the excess money we seem to have, our taxes won’t be going up this year?
