I think the councillors’ wage increases are too high. Councillors’ positions are classified as part-time. (Very part-time – at our recent neighbourhood AGM, no council members attended).
Why is the city giving a vehicle allowance when encouraging people to get out of their cars?
I think B.C. politicians’ wage increases should be tied to the minimum wage increases.
