Dear Editor:
Living at the north end of the Pattullo Bridge in Victoria Hill for the past 11 years, I have crossed it hundreds of times and also went through the frustrating lane closures/repairs this past summer.
Driving southbound over the bridge now I notice that from the north end to the crest of the bridge that the surface is not the usual smooth surface but rather quite a rough surface. Given that the average car weighs about 4,000 pounds and semis 80,000 pounds, the vibrations created by the rough surface cannot be good for the recent repairs and/or the overall structural integrity of the bridge.
I hope it lasts until we get a new bridge!
