Am I trying to start a panic here? I hope not, but we need better answers very quickly.
Stop reporting on world distractions like the war, inflation and supply problems, and pay attention to this one catastrophic influence on human life. What is this, a take on the 1997 movie Wag the Dog? Do we not have the combined experienced intelligence on this planet to eradicate this threat? Do we not see that nothing else matters if we let this go on and on and on?
Are we, the public, really that gullible and naive? Just who wins in having this never to go away? Come on now, media, let’s bring out some big-time hardball questions for every single government official. And stop accepting “nobody was available by our deadline for comment." Park your reporter on their doorstep until they are available. Then keep reporting each day until you get an answer that makes sense.
We complain daily about bike lanes and trying to change history, but are we not concerned with what looks like a runaway train here?
Obviously that old saying “I’m from the government and I’m here to help you” isn’t cutting it anymore. Stop treating us like children, as this is now way beyond “out of control." Do we have to pass the point of no return here to finally charge somebody with accountability? I hope not.
And if anybody thinks for even a second I like writing letters like this, well, they are dead wrong. Wake up, please!
