There is information in the letter that may not be known and if known would have an influence on borrowing money to pay for a new Canada Games Pool.
I encourage residents and property owners in New Westminster to read this letter.
I believe the information here calls for a hold on the borrowing bylaw being passed and a meeting to address these facts. This massive amount of debt for taxpayers now and to pass on to future taxpayers of New Westminster is not in my opinion necessary and not in our best interest. Better planning is needed.
