The city will put pedestrians at risk if they don't fix this crossing.
On rainy days, there is a big puddle of water collects at this section that deters people from crossing at where they are supposed to. In my photo, the road had dried up, but the puddle was still there. People tend to jaywalk in this intersection a lot (even on sunny days), and this has made it worse. There is also the risk of getting injured when they try to jump and dodge this puddle.
